| The British Blue bull Hartley Columbus has grown into a very impressive bull, and is breeding well. A deadweight son of his, out of a Lincoln Red cow, killed out at 63.6%, grossing £ 1144 at 15 months old in June 2011. |

The first prize heifer in the halter led British Native sired class at Newark Primestock Show held on 8th December 2010. She was by the L.Red bull Hemingby Wallace, and out of a BBx cow, and was bred by Rob and Sue Grace who farm on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall. She weighed 620 kgs at 26 months old, and made 245p a kg, the 7th highest price of the 200 show cattle forward that day

Vesta, a BB x LR cow, seen here in July 2011, at 9 yrs of age, with her May 2011 steer calf, by Columbus, has been the most successful X bred cow ever bred at Hemingby. 3 of her daughters have been show Champions. Camilla was Bred and Fed Champion at Newark Xmas show 2008, Dana was heifer Champion at Louth Xmas show 2009, and Eliza was sold privately, winning Champion round the Summer show circuit in 2010. |
